Scott H
Scott H is an entrepreneur and an Australian Practising Lawyer. Scott’s background in business encompasses internet portals, property agencies, financial services, and the law. Scott completed his secondary education at Geelong Grammar. Scott has a Bachelor of Law with First Class Honours from the University of New England. Scott’s Honours Thesis ‘Blockchain – Lawyers Disintermediation from Conveyancing is Inevitable: A Legal Analysis of Blockchain Land Titles, Smart Contracts, and Conveyancing for Australia’ received 92% and was recommended for publishing as an important work for government policy, the law, and the legal industry.
Scott also completed four Master of Laws degrees, including a Master of Laws (ASEAN +6 Cross Border Practice and Family Dispute Resolution Practice), a Master of Laws (Family Dispute Resolution Practice), a Master of Laws (Commercial Litigation), and a Master of Laws (Property Law). Scott wrote his Master of Laws Thesis ‘Blockchain – A Land Titling and Conveyancing Solution for Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ also received a high distinction and was the highest mark ever awarded by the marker. Scott completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian College of Law with straight high distinctions. Scott is a member of the New South Wales Law Society and Inter-Pacific Bar Association, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an officer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, a nationally accredited AMDRAS mediator, and an accredited FDRP with the Federal Circuit and Family Court.
Scott is a guest lecturer at the University of New England in Law & Technology. Scott has served on the board of a variety of companies; including, not-for-profit organizations, and has served on the University of New England Law School Education Committee. Scott is Chairman and a Director of a variety of commercial entities. Scott’s personal interests include family, guitar, equestrian sports as a competitor and instructor, and golf.
